A New Beginning

My blogging friends will laugh at me. ;) "Another blog?", they will say??? But if you know me any amount of time, you know that I just have A LOT to say!! LOL I love to chat, blog and gab. I love to share!!! What can I say?? That is who Little Sister is!!! And I had plenty of experience sharing with my two other brothers, countless cusions, friends, etc.

So what am I sharing about today??? ME!!! It's all about me. LOL One of my least favorite subjects by the way. I would much rather hear all about YOU!!! But alas, this is my blog.......

Here are 10 things you may not know about me (in no particular order, that's how my brain rolls. LOL)

1. I love to cook. I really do!!! I love to cook anything from soups to your favorite decadent desserts. Now if I could just find someone to come clean up after my messes! LOL I love looking up and trying new recipes, but my favs are the oldies from my Granny and my Mom.

2. We homeschool. Or at least we are trying. Our son is 5, and starting his FIRST YEAR of homeschooling. We had a trial run a few months ago and it went bumpy to say the least, but we are both very excited about it!!! We have another little one as well....and when he is old enough, we will start Little Tots Preschool!

3. I dabble with some craftiness from time to time. I am a whizz with a needle and thread. I love to cross stitch, sew by hand and sometimes even use that thing on my sewing desk. You know the one with lots of confusing buttons and levers and is piled with junk right now. Yeah, I occasionally clean it off and make something, mostly for gifts. I rarely keep what I sew.

4. I was NOT born organized. SURPRISE!!! I struggle sometimes with decluttering and organizing because it is not a born in thing with me. I am a collector, and a former packrat. *whew, I admitted it* and I married a man who is a major packrat and a collector of emotional items, passed down from his dad. See a problem here??? LOL But I am learning to overcome and streamline the items we keep and organize what is left. Lord, help me!!

5. I love the Lord with all my heart, mind, body and soul. If this offends you....find another blog to read. :) It's as simple as that. 'Nuff said.

6. I love cheesecake!! It's my one true vice in life. *sigh* Cheesecake with cherries, or strawberries, or blueberries, or chocolate.....yes chocolate please!!! *swoon* I adore cheesecake with it's creamy texture and sweetness. I want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then again for dessert. I want it in a car, I want it in a boat, I want it on a plane, or floating in a moat. I love cheesecake.

7. I don't do yard work. Nope....no siree, and I don't think I ever will. I don't have a green thumb, nor do I pretend to. Thankfully I married a wonderful man *triple swoon* who loves to do yard work, whether it be trimming trees, burning brush, mowing, or gardening. I love that man of mine.

8. Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter........you will most likely find me barefoot. I love going barefoot for some reason. PIGGIES!!! My kids are following suit, too. LOL Joshua is 10 months old and has only had socks on twice in his life. Noah is 5 and rarely wears socks either, and we always have to run and get some before we leave to go somewhere.

9. My cell phone is like my other appendage. LOL I have a love affair with my Android. I love that thing....it has all my info it it, I can surf on it, text on it. All my friends live in it, I swear!!! recently my battery and the charger died at the same and I had to wait for a WHOLE WEEK before I got replacements. I was in serious withdrawals and caught myself trying to pick up the TV remote to text my girlfriends.

10. What should I bore you with on the last number??? Hmmmmm..........how about some absolutely USELESS fact about me (as if the others were not useless, right??) Let me think. Ok, I got it. My first car, was a Red 1984 Pontiac Fiero. You don't know about the Fiero you say?? Look it up people. A 2 seater, with the motor right behind the drivers seat. It was like driving a roller skate....little thing. But I loved that car........and once, we even fir 5 people in it. CRAZINESS, I KNOW!
